CVEF provided children at Maison Esperance with vital studying supplies to kick-off the 2025/26 academic and food.

Since late June 2025, Congo‑Brazzaville has seen a resurgence of cholera, particularly affecting Brazzaville and Congo‑Oubangui—the most severely hit areas. Between 23 June and 17 August 2025, the country reported 457 suspected cases and 35 deaths, a case fatality rate of 7.7 %, according to the World Health Organization (WHO ). Brazzaville recorded 269 cases and 13 deaths, while Congo-Oubangui saw 188 cases with 22 deaths, resulting in a higher CFR of 11.7 %. In response, the Cornish Views Education Foundation (CVEF) has created a one‑minute educational video to teach children how to protect themselves through handwashing, clean water use, and safe sanitation. To scale its impact, CVEF will also roll out TV advertisements and a social media awareness campaign across Congo-Brazzaville, reaching homes, classrooms, and community centres. If the cholera outbreak persists, CVEF is also preparing to deploy teams to Congo-Oubangui, where they will conduct workshops with local schools, community leaders, and medical professionals—reinforcing hygiene education and supporting the local health response.
